Sunday Services this month

As we draw the academic year to a close, we conclude our series on prayer and spend the Summer being led as our speakers feel so led. Our children join us for the services, as their leaders take a well-earned rest from all the hard work they do throughout the year. This can be a time of real blessing as a fellowship, and I pray we would be strengthened as a fellowship through it.

2nd July 10.45am          1 Corinthians 13: Love

In this morning’s final parade service of the academic year, some of the girls will be helping us think about what love means and different ways that we love.

9th July 10.45am                Daniel 10:1-14: Strength for the journey

Dave is away this weekend, and so Phil will help us think about why sticking at it in prayer is one of the biggest disciplines we can develop.

16th July 10.45am              John 17:1-11: Prodigal prayers

This week, Dave will help us think about how we praye effectively for those we know who don’t know Christ. We will also share communion together. Our children will also be sharing in a time of fun in their Praise Party.

23rd July 10.45am              Acts 4:23-27: what next?

In the first of our all-age services and the final in the series on prayer, Dave will help us draw together all that we have explored and help us think about what we do after we pray.

30th July 10.45am

Dave will lead us in a time of worship for all the family today. The children will be in this service, which will include space and reflection for the children.

6th August 10.45am

In the next in our all-age services, Dave will help us listen to God and seek His will for our lives.

13th August 10.45am

Eddy Rye will be preaching today as we share time together listening to God.

20th August 10.45am

Today, Sonia Jackson will be preaching and we will share communion together.

27th August 10.45am

Dave returns from a two-week break today and will draw our all-age Summer services to a close. We gather to meet with and hear from God.

3rd September 10.45am

In our first Sunday in the new academic year, we will be celebrating our young people as they go into new groups. This is always a special service giving thanks to God for them all, and we will have an opportunity to pray for them and be prayed for.

We endeavour to keep the readings consistent with those listed above so that you can have the opportunity to read in advance, but on occasion they may vary slightly. We will try to share this with you in advance as and when this occurs.
