About Us
Northfield Baptist Church is situated at the heart of Northfield, a busy suburb in the south of Birmingham. We are an open and welcoming fellowship that seeks to make Jesus known through our outreach and local involvement.
The church’s involvement in the life of the local community has always been at the heart of our mission. Twenty years ago we fulfilled a longstanding vision when we opened Ash Grove, a sheltered housing scheme with Extra Care, adjacent to the church. More recently, in 2006, we completed a major building project that significantly improved our facilities, extending our outreach to Northfield by developing a coffee lounge and community restaurant. These facilities have enabled many from the fellowship and from other local churches to work and witness together throughout the week.
